lazyagent

Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 29, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how the lazyagent companion app (the “App”) handles information. The App is a client that lets you monitor and interact with your own self-hosted lazyagent instance over its HTTP API.

The short version: we do not collect, transmit, sell, or store any of your personal data. The App talks only to the lazyagent instance that you configure, using your own network and credentials. We do not operate any server that sits in between.

1. Information we collect

We do not collect any personal data. We have no servers, accounts, or backend services that receive information from the App. We have no access to your data, your usage, or your activity.

2. Information stored on your device

To connect to your lazyagent instance, the App stores the following information locally on your device only:

  • The address (URL) of your lazyagent instance.
  • Any access token or API key you provide to authenticate with that instance.
  • App preferences and settings.

This information never leaves your device except to communicate directly with the lazyagent instance you configured. It is not transmitted to us or to any third party.

3. How your data flows

When you use the App, it sends requests directly to your own lazyagent instance and displays the responses. The data you see — such as your coding agent sessions, activity, and session details — comes from that instance and stays between your device and your instance. We are not a party to this communication and cannot see it.

The privacy and security of the data on your lazyagent instance are governed by how you host and configure that instance, not by this App.

4. Analytics and tracking

The App contains no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking SDKs. We do not use cookies or tracking technologies inside the App, and we do not build user profiles.

5. Third-party services

We do not share data with third parties because we do not collect any. The only external system the App communicates with is the lazyagent instance that you choose and control.

Note that the App is distributed through the Apple App Store. Apple may collect certain information as part of its platform (for example, download and crash data) in accordance with Apple’s Privacy Policy. That processing is governed by Apple and is outside our control.

6. Data retention and deletion

Because all App data is stored locally on your device, you are in full control of it. You can remove it at any time by clearing the App’s settings or by uninstalling the App, which deletes all locally stored information, including your instance address and credentials.

7. Children’s privacy

The App is a developer tool not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Material changes will be reflected here, and your continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
